The scentless sand, which had whipped her face on her long trek to this somber place, settled now on the floor. The only footprints to be seen were her own.

The silence, after the blowing winds outside, clawed at her ears with a vengeance...

... until he spoke her name.

Smiling slightly, she said, "Ahh, my love... such a long time I have awaited this moment."

I spent a very long time working this image. I have, actually, 2 versions of it. One, is what you see here. The other is a much much lighter shaded version. I personally prefer this. Mayhap one day I'll submit the other

I think i feel some pride with this one, but god, i would love your feedback on this
